A fast-growing consumer packaged good company in Mississauga has an exciting opportunity on our Operations team for a Operations Coordinator As the Operations Coordinator, you will be playing an important role by issuing PO's, following up with vendors on pricing and delivery.

Responsibilities:


  • Issue PO's and follow up with vendors on pricing and delivery. Manage and keep Great Plains (GP) system up to date
  • Issue PO's and components for repacks
  • Request and maintain vendor quotes for repacks, components and any other requests
  • Transfer inventory between warehouses as needed
  • Match shipments and inbounds with vendors and warehouse and receiving in GP follow up with discrepancies with finance and vendors
  • New Part Numbers create and maintain part numbers for all components
  • BOM's create and maintain
  • Follow up and coordinate with any ETA on any shipments in transit
  • Assist with all brands that the company sell (i.e. NS, SQ, No Sugar, CrossFuel, etc.) as requested
  • Provide assistance and support to logistics
  • General projects as requested physical counts, cycle counts, inventory questions, special projects
  • Reconcile inventory negatives for month end
  • Process intercompany transactions
  • Pull inventory reports related to month end
  • Any other tasks that business requires at the time

Qualifications:


  • Experience in MS Dynamics Great Plains (would be an asset)
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience
  • Work experience preferred particularly in planning and production
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adjust to change in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills required on PC based software
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
