About the role:


Canadian Blood services is looking for
a Temporary Part-Time Scheduler/Timekeeper to join our team
. In this role you will be responsible for planning and creating rotational work schedules to meet operational needs within the Supply Chain and completing the associated timekeeping functions in accordance with all regulatory requirements and Canadian Blood Services policies, procedures and practices.


Responsibilities include:


  • Responsible for replacing staff sick calls and creating and maintaining departmentspecific vacation calendars.
  • Performs timekeeping functions for all Supply Chain employees.
  • Performs other activities as required.

Required Skills:


  • Postsecondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution.
  • A minimum of three years of scheduling experience in related position, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Strong computer skills using Word and Excel, and a strong working knowledge of personal computers with a preference given to experience with a Windows operating system and Microsoft Outlook. Testing on Excel and Scheduling skills will be conducted.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information with a high degree of deductive reasoning.
  • Essential to your success are your excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service and interpersonal skills, as are your superior organizational skills and your ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of employee information is critical.
  • Previous experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Accuracy with attention to detail.
