renewables. We have built and continue to maintain the majority of our solar projects in
collaboration with our customers. With 300 projects, more than 20 million kWh of energy
generated per year (enough to power 2,000 homes) and over 3,000 tonnes of CO2
emissions reduced per year; we are entering a period of strong growth. Our latest
endeavours push the limits to rethink underutilized space, such as custom designed solar
carports, drive electrification with modern and future ready EV charging solutions and work
closely with industry leading developers to build out the future of how we generate, use and
and push for a bright, prosperous and energy efficient future.

VCT Group requires a Project Coordinator to help prepare technical documentation for
solar construction projects. Through your work, we will ensure timely completion of
documentation including building permits, local distribution agreements, engineering
documents. You will be able to directly leverage your organizational, time management, a
detail-oriented skills to create efficiencies in our project design and implementation
department. You will work alongside Solar Designer and Project Manager to ensure
administrative tasks are completed with accuracy and within time constraints to enable
projects to be completed efficiently and on time. Come make an impact in our organization

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

  • Prepare administrative documents for local distribution company, building permits,
general contractor forms

  • Create bill of materials based off PV Engineer's design to process RFQ with local
suppliers

  • Prepare draft and final manuals for projects including Health & Safety, Operations
and Maintenance, and Warranty information.

  • Responsible for organizing site safety documentation and expediting their
collection.

  • Maintain projects database with accurate project information.
  • Actively contribute as required to ensure that projects maintain forward momentum.
High degree of hands-on versatility to conduct and execute contingency plans in a
timely manner.

  • Adapt to changing project and customer circumstances by developing workable and
cost-effective contingency plans that respect overall project guidelines and
contribute to planned outcomes

  • Assist the Solar Designer and Project Manager, in the day to day duties of operations
administration

  • Maintaining, tracking and filing of all project related documents
  • Coordinate documentation for occupancy and assist the project management team
- with collection and distribution of closeout documents.
  • Support to develop, implement, continuously improve, and maintain program and
project management structures and tools to enable effective management and
delivery of projects

  • Track action items and followup on tasks, issues, roadblocks and work with the
Project Managers to update project schedules

  • Assist in the project close out including inhouse detailed deficiency/incomplete
work list and timely completion and sign off of each item.

  • Provide assistance to the Project Manager and other site staff for specific project
- related requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Postsecondary education, preferably in an business, construction, or administrative
discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and superior quality of work
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, time management and adaptability skills
  • Able to work independently with tight timelines in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT WOULD BE AN ASSET:

  • Experience with project management software, reading construction documents
  • Experience in, or understanding of, the construction industry
  • Understanding of renewable energy sector
  • Experience working with local distribution companies.
  • Experience in procurement processes
