Creative & Development (C&D) is a global team supporting the delivery of strategic technologies and data analytics for EA's game development studios.
The C&D Operations team enables the overall business to run smoothly.We deliver insights, drive change management, and build tools, processes, and capabilities that support the strategy of Creative & Development.
We are looking for a experienced Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Operations to guide the planning and control of our operational activities.
This exciting and dynamic role will partner with a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders, including C&D leadership, the existing Operations team, Program Management Office (PMO), Learning & Communications (L&C), C&D Analytics, game development partner teams, People Experience (PE), Talent Acquisition (TA), Finance, Legal, and more.
The Role:
- Own and help execute essential central C&D operational responsibilities
- Shape simple solutions to complex problems across multiple disciplines that consider process, analytics and technology
- Support strategic programs within C&D, including annual goal setting, operating plans and executivelevel reporting
- Implement measurements that track discipline performance, delivery, and financial status to identify and address core risks to our business and partner teams
- Support and own aspects of the consolidated C&D operating and capital budgets, including resource plans
- Identify opportunities for improvement within our essential processes, align with partners, and implement
- Use data and insights as a resource to guide effective decisions across our business
- Manage maintenance and evolution C&D operations dashboards
What you bring:
- Experience using data and business expertise to inform decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to track, model and present information in engaging ways
- Critical thinking skills and a continuous improvement mindset used to challenge the status quo and to develop and improve processes and reporting
- Proficient change management skills with comfort around navigating uncertainty
- Resultsoriented and willingness to own and drive deliverables through execution
- Experience managing and driving alignment with wide variety of stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field (software or game development)
