Your daily life:


The People and Culture Generalist will play a crucial role within the P&C Business Partner team (PCBP), offering comprehensive support for both strategic projects and day-to-day PCBP tactical initiatives.

This position demands a broad comprehension of HR functions, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

The HR Generalist will aid in achieving HR objectives by providing top-notch HR services and aiding in the execution of HR initiatives.

Furthermore, this role will contribute to crafting recommendations for designing, facilitating, and implementing solutions to ensure alignment with the long-term objectives of other HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs).


In this role, you will:


  • Assist P&C Business Partners Managers in executing and initiating all HR programs, activities, and yearly procedures, including performance management, compensation annual processes, transformation projects, succession and workforce planning, organizational design, change management, and operational effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any frontline P&C transactional requirements within your designated lines of business and participate in HRrelated projects throughout the organization.

Strategic Project Support:


  • Aid PCBP managers in tracking HR metrics, analyzing trends, and proposing continuous improvement measures.
  • Work closely with the PCBP team to create and execute strategic HR projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and analyze HR trends to support project development and decisionmaking.
  • Assist in formulating project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, identify risks, and suggest solutions to address challenges.
  • Support future business integration efforts by adhering to project plans and generating necessary documentation.

Administrative Support:


  • Oversee the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage Dayforce transactions effectively.
  • Compile HR reports to facilitate analysis and inform decisionmaking within the PCBP team.
  • Ensure seamless execution of employee lifecycle events, such as onboarding and offboarding processes, within Dayforce, including the review of all related employee correspondence.
  • Conduct research on labor laws as necessary and offer recommendations to HR managers based on findings.

General Support:


  • Coordinate meetings on behalf of team members and senior HR leadership, including agenda management when needed for the SVP, Human Resources.
  • Utilize data and metrics to prepare visually appealing presentations that support the HR agenda.
  • As a problem solver, liaise with other internal stakeholders to gather data and clarify processes and procedures that impact the HR team.

What We're Looking For:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations, business administration or relevant education and experience.
  • 3 + years of relevant experience supporting an HR function.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English: comfortable drafting memos, letters, and other written communications.
  • Proven experience with HR operations and processes.
  • Solutionfocused, innovative, adaptable, with a meticulous, proactive, and rigorous approach to addressing HR challenges.
  • Demonstrated capability to add value consistently and positively in a dynamic and continuously changing work setting.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
