This
Building Caretaker position requires
70% Cleaning and
30% Building Management. This is a live-out position and does not offer accommodation. We are looking for two responsible and experienced Caretakers to work on our two Building Clients.

Location:
North Vancouver

Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays (10 am to 6 pm)

Your Job Scope:

Keep the Strata building common areas clean and tidy.
Clean common areas in the building, such as; lobbies, hallways, elevators, gym, pool areas, saunas, amenity rooms, lounges, etc., as well as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming, painting, and minor repairs.
Program and update fobs (remote access key).
Provide access to contractors/ vendors as required and directed by Property/Strata/Building Manager
Monitor building conditions and security (review security cameras as requested by property management).
Maintaining pool/exterior fountain (Pool Operator Certificate Required)
Coordination of move in/out
Maintain cordial, professional and businesslike relation with owners and tenants by being consistently polite, helpful and respectful in all dealing with owners and residents
Managing amenity room bookings and collection and returning of keys and/or fobs.
Ensure storage rooms, mechanical rooms, parkades, bicycle rooms, hallways, stairways, and all other common areas are kept free of inappropriate items.

You Have:

Strong customer service skills, able to multitask and problem solve.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
Must have good computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in residential or Strata buildings is an asset.
Organized selfstarter with excellent work ethic and good work habits.
Able to lift 30 to 50 lbs., bent and reach to high/ low places as needed.
