We manage discretionary and transactional model portfolios on behalf of our clients and the Investment Associate will be an integral part of our team.

To be successful, you must be disciplined and have a passion for investments and looking for a longer term role as Investment Advisor.

LLC Private Wealth of Canaccord Genuity is seeking a licensed Investment Associate who will focus on the business development for our established wealth practice.

Responsibilities:

Implement and Generate business development activities;
Write a client friendly investment summary to be sent to clients;
Support the team's marketing initiatives and campaigns
Manage and implement office projects, while maintaining existing processes and systems
Lead all marketing initiatives; mainly focused on social media platforms;
Develop new marketing strategies for social media, radio, print, digital and TV;
Manage social media presence and updating website;
Prepare or assist in the preparation of business correspondence, presentations,
Assist with maintaining Salesforce Marketing Cloud and various databases, records and other documents;

Skills & Qualifications:

Completion of CSC, CPH, CFA and licensed with IIROC is required;
Strong communication and writing skills;
High proficiency in English; oral and written
A winning and positive attitude;
Experienced in a trading or portfolio management capacity an asset;
Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a team;
Attention to detail a musthave;
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure;
Knowledge of Dataphile, Salesforce and Envestnet an asset.
