The
Procurement Data and Analytics team plays a key role in developing actionable insights to support category excellence, driving improved business decision-making capabilities, preventing supply chain risks, and identifying opportunities to create additional value.


JOB ROLE


As a
Procurement Data Analytics Manager, you will lead interactions with colleagues across the function to understand how we can partner to generate value through deeper category, supplier, and spend insights derived from various internal and external datasets existing within our organization's centralized data platform.

This role will lead improvements in business outcomes by identifying and interpreting trends and patterns to prepare actionable insights, advanced analysis, data models, and visualizations to aid in complex data storytelling.

You will play a vital role in supporting and consulting with the Global Procurement organization to identify business opportunities that drive change, cost reduction and simplification.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Procurement Data & Analytics team to identify competitive actionable insights needed within different regions and categories
  • Lead interactions across the procurement network to coordinate the translation of business problems into appropriate analytical products and solutions in the project scope
  • Design, develop, and implement data models of descriptive and predictive nature which may include data validation checks, data transformation and harmonization, and the creation of different views to expose the data
  • Partner with the function to build and test appropriate analytics models and create greater visibility into analytical scenarios to enable Procurement to continually improve performance
  • Leveraging External Data sets, bring insights forward to the Procurement organization the role will also have the opportunity to scout for new external data sources that can deliver business impact and uncover new insights and opportunities
  • Develop data visualization dashboards to allow data interrogation and manipulation for realtime performance
  • Ensure proper utilization and articulate the value of data products, information resources and services provided to the wider network

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in analysing complex data sets to identify trends, performance, and efficiency improvements
  • Handson experience in manipulating large datasets & extrapolating insights
  • Advanced ability to draw conclusions from data and present them in a succinct fashion to stakeholders
  • Experience with BI platform (preferably — Power BI)
  • Proficiency in databases and data integration techniques
  • SQL, ETL tools
  • Proven experience in working with colleagues in a global environment and engaging with them to understand their analytical needs and build a pipeline of analytical requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Good command of English both written and spoken

DESIRABLE:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages like R, Python
  • Working knowledge/experience regarding statistical & predictive modelling
  • Knowledge of Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain domains
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, data science/statistics, or business administration, or equivalent experience
