That's all well and good, but what is a working day as a Tower crane Operator with us?

Move and lift loads, equipment and materials using the crane according to instructions;
Perform prework inspections and calculate crane capacity and weight in preparation for hitching and lifting;
Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.

What you will need:

Have completed the DEP in crane operating;
For work sites in Quebec: Hold a valid CCQ competency card as a journeyman crane operator;
For construction sites in Ontario: Hold a valid College of Trade competency card;
Having already operated a tower crane (an asset);
Be in good physical shape, because climbing up and down a crane keeps you in shape;
Ability to communicate effectively with the team.
