Department Overview


The Talent Center of Excellence (COE) is the global function within Corporate HR, responsible for enterprise talent strategy, including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and the Employee Experience.

The Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise (COE) Hub sits within Talent Acquisition, with an enterprise-wide scope.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Practice Management, the HR Program Manager, Operational Excellence & Vendor Management will:

  • Have ownership over the development and implementation of an Operational Excellence Framework for the TA COE, including creating standardization and consistency, while mitigating risk
  • Ensure process maps are documented, control processes are implemented (where required); Proactively manages and monitors the overall TA COE performance while making necessary adjustments based on business priorities and issues
  • Develop program governance and required reporting, monitors and controls program management plans in alignment with enterprise and HR standards; simplify the way we get things done
  • Reduce the COE's risk and ensure our practices and procedures are in line with enterprise and regulatory policies
  • Establish a vendor engagement strategy that includes enhanced processes and vendor performance management while overseeing enterprise portfolio, fostering a 'One TD' approach to managing vendor partnerships.
  • Support the tracking, measurement, and evaluation of vendor performance to inform strategic direction.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all operational aspects of vendor onboarding and usage, leading any required change management.
  • Become a functional bridge between vendors and internal stakeholders, providing informed recommendations and council throughout the onboarding and engagement processes.
  • Ensure strong understanding of the Bank's vendor management tools including SAP Ariba and Coupa Risk
  • Manage a Business Management Analyst, providing direction on their role in supporting operational excellence and vendor engagement. #CTOCareers

Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to build trust, influence and gain alignment across stakeholders from multiple backgrounds and lines of business
  • Proven ability to see business processes through a customer and employee lens
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical capabilities ability to consolidate and present information into clear, concise analysis in support of business decisions
  • Experience with Operational Excellence and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to identify relevant performance metrics and scorecard inputs to assess vendors.
  • Team player who is comfortable with working in a dynamic fastpaced work environment and with an evolving mandate.
  • A highenergy individual who can exercise initiatives with mínimal discretion and be thorough, accurate, and detail oriented to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong change management acumen
  • Very comfortable navigating ambiguity, with outcomes that create value for a variety of stakeholders.
