Job Description:


The client service intermodal team is responsible to dispatch transportation orders of import and export shipments to our MEDLOG division within the set timelines.

This team also works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure complete compliance with railroads and Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) regulations and timelines.

They must process with extreme accuracy within timeliness all importing containers tracing and handle daily requests to ensure a costless and efficient release of shipments.


Providing an excellent customer experience for clients and colleagues in every written and verbal communication, the Client Service Intermodal Representative is responsible for ensuring effective dispatching operations across our Canadian ports.

Key Accountabilities

  • Generate daily reports to identify the intermodal shipments.
  • Ensure all required delivery instructions are received from customers.
  • Create the work orders in MSC LINK
  • Monitor the shipment's status in MAP to ensure all requirements are met prior to the dispatch.
  • Contact clients for the status of their shipments.
  • Dispatch the work order to MEDLOG to arrange the trucking.
  • Monitor shipment status at partner's website to ensure costless on
- time delivery.

  • Handle customer's request related to intermodal

Qualifications:

  • Excellent command in spoken and written English with bilingualism (French and English) preferred.
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Meticulous and strong team player
