RollerDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:


  • Responsible for teaching the fundamentals of roller skating to children and youth ages 615yrs.
  • Instruct participants on how to balance, start, stop and the safety techniques for falling while on roller skates.
  • Responsible for taking camp attendance and implementing games with emphasis on safety, fun and participation.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Strong Roller Skating ability and understanding of skating techniques
  • Experience working or volunteering with children and youth in a recreational setting (if applicable)
  • First Aid Certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:
Applicants may be required to complete an employment security screening check

WORK STATUS:

Casual/Seasonal
HOURS OF WORK: 35hr per week.

  • July 17th 21st 2023,
  • August 14th 18th 2023
    Please note this program only runs for 2 weeks of the summer, but with potential opportunity for employment in the fall.

SALARY:
Non-Union, $17.50 per hour
WORK LOCATION:Dartmouth Gray Arena 10 Monique Ave, Dartmouth, NS, B3A 4G7.
