    Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • 1. Creates and maintains a variety of records, reports and spreadsheets for statistical and other record keeping requirements.
  • 2. Performs word processing, filing and other clerical/administrative functions as required.
  • 3. Assists in the planning, organizing and preparing of documentation for periodic physical inventories.
  • 4. Coordinates the production of course packs and ensures documentation is duplicated and stocked according to set timelines.
  • 5. Prepares text book orders according to instructional requests and ensures delivery meets schedule requirements.
  • 6. Advises faculty on the availability of titles.
  • 7. Maintains tracking system of royalty payments and copyright material for the college.
  • 8. Assists with cash and customer service.
  • 9. Initiates and runs buy back of textbooks as required.
  • 10. Maintains E website.
  • 11. Assists Bookstore Receiver as required.
  • 12. Performs other related duties as required.
    Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 including commercial and computer courses plus additional specialized training of up to and including 1 year and 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be substituted for the required qualifications.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty and the general public.
  • Good customer service skills and the ability to function professionally, pleasantly and calmly during periods of stress.
  • Good organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and organize duties effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Access, Excel, BookLog, CourseWorks, and HTML. Strong keyboarding skills.
  • Mature and task oriented.

Salary Range - Prorated based on FTE

  • PAYGRADE 20: $1,747.66 to $2,035.33 biweekly.
