THE OPPORTUNITY

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate tasks to keep projects running smoothly including ordering materials, working with the warehouse, inspecting orders received and/or onsite, recording shortages and damages and resolving product issues, and managing deadlines and scheduling
  • Actively participate in construction site meetings, review onsite conditions, and propose effective solutions and adjustments through shop drawings
  • Utilize AutoCAD or Bluebeam to create window covering design templates, project specific custom shop drawings, and operations and maintenance manuals
  • Coordinate and ensure that shop drawings are submitted for production and to all stakeholders as required.
  • Coordinate complicated or unusual installations and coach contract installers on unfamiliar products
  • Liaise and find resolutions with vendors on product orders and deficiencies
  • Prompt invoicing of the project
  • Followup with customers to ensure satisfaction and expand business opportunities
  • Follow up on service work completion and warranty documentation

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Architectural Technologist diploma or CET diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator role with familiarity Alberta Building Codes, and construction drawings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Able to read architectural drawings and specifications; coursework related to electrical wiring and processes is advantageous
  • Ability to complete site measurements
  • Knowledge of window covering products is an asset
  • Exception customer service focus and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with many different people
  • Selfstarter/motivated, resourceful with high attention to detail and technically orientated
  • Initiative and ability to think critically and act logically in evaluating situations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and willing to learn RGO's proprietary software programs
  • Valid Alberta Driver's Licence and reliable personal vehicle (mileage allowance is paid)
