  • Working in the WELL EMR Group (WEG) and reporting to the Director of Development, the Software Quality Analyst plays a critical role in delivering high quality software that exceeds the expectations of our EMR customers. Collaborating with software developers and designers, the Software Quality Analyst will define and execute test plans ensuring all requirements are properly satisfied.


You will receive daily coaching and support with significant opportunities for growth and an opportunity to push forward and develop new, best quality assurance best practices.


Key Objectives:


  • Audit existing test suites to improve efficiency and identify areas where effort is required to improve confidence in tests run during CI/CD pipeline.
  • Automate regression tests to improve the efficiency of regression testing and allow execution of regression tests during CI/CD pipeline.
  • Document workflows and standards to help improve and regulate QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Reviewing software designs and executing test plans based upon business and system requirements.
  • Assisting the technical support team through root cause analysis of customer reported issues.
  • Developing automated system tests
  • Reporting and documenting bugs in Jira
  • Automating routine tasks to improve the productivity of the Quality Assurance platform.
  • Improving test processes, proposing new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.

Requirements:


  • You are comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and effectively prioritizing your time and focus. You have exacting standards and are not afraid to raise your hand when you feel a product does meet your expectations.
  • You have experience using Java programs and supporting tools and libraries including the JUnit test framework. You have experience using at least one automated web testing framework such as Jest, Mocha or Jasmine.
  • Although not required, familiarity with the following technologies and tools will be helpful:
  • Angular
  • Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Rest, Hibernate
  • Cypress, Selenium (E2E testing experience)
  • Git
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Jira
