Job Brief
We are looking for a Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator to participate in our company's advertising campaigns. Your main responsibilities include conducting market research, producing promotional materials and analyzing sales data


Responsibilities:


  • Reply to incoming enquiries about IH Vancouver
  • Connect with agents on a regular basis
  • Hold orientation meetings with new students every Monday
  • Represent the school at fairs and workshops abroad if required
  • Stay up to date with market developments and build strategies
  • Provide training to key agents and counsellors through regular visits and training sessions.
  • Support in creating marketing material (i.e., flyers, brochures, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok videos) to promote IH Vancouver to different demographics.
  • Be responsible for messaging/responding on different platforms (i.e., WhatsApp, WeChat, Google etc.) to promote IH Vancouver.
  • Be in contact with parents, agencies, others where appropriate, in Japan.
  • Design and implement plans for market events
  • Report findings about certain markets back to management
  • Maintain database of contacts for market
  • Help students throughout their stay, deal with enquiries, course changes, visa issues, documentations or complaints
  • Keep track of outstanding balances and ask for payments
  • Quote for group enquiries in accordance with management
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:


  • Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, business, administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years' work experience in an international school /or college and familiarity with student management systems.
  • Language: English and Japanese

Required, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Require to:


  • Travel within the Greater Vancouver area. It may from time to time require travel outside the GVA.
  • Travel to education fairs, agent contact meetings, etc.
  • Flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job description.
  • Confidentiality the Student Recruitment Officer understands the need for confidentiality regarding: Student/Parent information and IH Vancouver policies, personnel, daytoday issues and directions of the school and any other matters pertaining to the school and its personnel, in general.

Knowledge of:


  • Principles and practices of employee supervision
  • Practices and procedures of student registration, considerable knowledge required
  • Administrative organization and academic regulations
  • Standard record keeping procedures
  • Support systems for data management

Skill in:


  • Planning and organization
  • Understanding students and fostering student success
  • Developing and maintaining effective and appropriate working relationships
  • Critical thinking, problemsolving, and analysis

Ability to:


  • Guide students through the registration process
  • Communicate effectively through both oral and written means
  • Respect diversity and work collaboratively with individuals of diverse cultural, social and educational backgrounds
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
  • Work independently to analyze available information, draw conclusions and understandings, and present such findings effectively to senior management.
  • Ability to set KPIs and track progress

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
