Providing excellent front-line customer service to the public both in-person and over the telephone; including providing program information, registering participants, collecting admissions and other fees, and selling membership passes;
Operating a point of sale system, ensuring transactions and end-of-day cash balancing is completed accurately;
Answering the facility switchboard and resolving or referring customer concerns;
Calling in casual staff for the reception area, skate shop and pools;
Performing opening and closing duties for the Sports and Aquatic Centres, general office functions and other related tasks.

Passionate about customer service with a minimum of one year of directly related experience in customer service, general administration, cash handling and working with the public in a fast-paced environment;
Comfortable working in an office environment with formal education equivalent to a certificate in office, business administration or another relevant discipline following high school graduation and current criminal record clearance;
Skilled in cash handling and comfortable working with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel, with accurate keyboarding skills;
Able to effectively respond to customer concerns or complaints, including emergency situations when required;
Flexible in working a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
