Salary Range:
Starting salary will be $44,500, based on a 35-hour work week.

Salary for this position will be commensurate with the successful applicant's education and/or experience as it relates to the position.

What You Will Do


The Volunteer Fundraising and Corporate Coordinator (VFCC) provides support and training to volunteers within their region, ensuring they are equipped with the proper knowledge and tools to host their fundraising initiatives.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support, training and excellent customer service to volunteers in all areas of their fundraising initiatives, including but not limited to, how to run a banquet (or other event); DUC's digital volunteer handbook; Teams financial entry and financial reporting; DUC mobile apps, P2P, social media and other digital platforms, etc.
  • Assist the Manager of Volunteer and Corporate Fundraising (MVCF) in identifying and developing sales opportunities.
  • Work jointly with and provide support to the MVCF and National Stewardship Team to ensure volunteers are properly recognized for their contribution of time and revenue generation.
  • Log all sales activities, opportunities, and campaigns, ensuring quality and accurate contact/account information is entered into the DUC CRM (Salesforce) by the end of each week. This includes tracking volunteer hours of contribution and supporter satisfaction in Salesforce
  • Order, create and distribute event support materials for volunteers.

Requirements:


  • At least 1 year of experience in fundraising coordination or related field.
  • Diploma in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs is required and proficiency in peer to peer platforms and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a desired asset.
  • Familiarity with the non
- profit and environmental conservation sectors is an asset.

  • Financial/bookkeeping experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detailoriented, organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Must be comfortable using video conference tools to manage relationships with volunteers and staff across Canada.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends and travel periodically throughout the territory.
  • A valid Canadian driver's license is required.
