Overview:


Reporting to:

Branch Manager and Corporate Fire Suppression Manager


Scope of work:


  • Install Kitchen, Paint Booths and Vehicle Suppression systems, installation includes: pipe runs, threading, cutting
  • Perform preventive Fire Suppression annual and semiannual inspections.
  • Repair deficiencies.
  • Drive between sites
  • Create comprehensible reports on handheld devices
  • Submit daily Hazard Assessment forms, Weekly Vehicle Inspection forms and attend all safety/toolbox talk meetings
  • Complete all internal training as assigned
  • Read and understand the Safety Process Manual and participate in the program;
  • Comply with Government regulations
  • Refuse to carry out work where you have reason to believe there is imminent danger to yourself or others;
  • Wear proper protective equipment when required
  • Report hazards in the workplace
  • Correct unsafe conditions where possible
  • Report injuries, accidents and incidents

Salary:
$18.00-$24.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

Fire Protection: 1 year (preferred)
