Front Desk Tenant Support Worker - Temporary Full-time

The scope of work and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Cover the front desk as needed
  • Engage with tenants and assist as needed
  • Building tasks as assigned by the Supervisor and meet with Supervisor weekly
  • Assist and actively support the Supervisor with administrative tasks
  • Restock supplies and look after the canteen area
  • Communicate effectively with peers, tenants, guests, volunteers, community members, and other professionals, as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work and living environment
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Desired qualifications and skills include:


  • Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
  • Skilled with computer programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid class 5 driver's License, registration and insurance
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Understanding of mental health, addictions and brain injury is an asset
CMHA offers a competitive wage and opportunities for advancement. The hours are from 12:00pm to 10:00pm and will follow a 4 on 4 off rotation. Position is until the end of October 2023 with potential to stay on as casual afterwards.
