Front Desk Tenant Support Worker - Temporary Full-time

The scope of work and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Cover the front desk as needed
Engage with tenants and assist as needed
Building tasks as assigned by the Supervisor and meet with Supervisor weekly
Assist and actively support the Supervisor with administrative tasks
Restock supplies and look after the canteen area
Communicate effectively with peers, tenants, guests, volunteers, community members, and other professionals, as needed
Maintain a safe and clean work and living environment
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Attend monthly staff meetings

Desired qualifications and skills include:

Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
Skilled with computer programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid class 5 driver's License, registration and insurance
Valid First Aid Certificate
Understanding of mental health, addictions and brain injury is an asset

CMHA offers a competitive wage and opportunities for advancement. The hours are from 12:00pm to 10:00pm and will follow a 4 on 4 off rotation. Position is until the end of October 2023 with potential to stay on as casual afterwards.
