Job Summary

  • Reporting to the Associate Director, the Online-Blended Program Assistant will provide coordination and support to the Integrated Learning Coordinators in the delivery of three graduate programs and in the successful delivery of the face to face Intensives, delivered in major Canadian cities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and distribution of course and programrelated materials (including class lists, prof bios, dates and etc), obtaining copyright permission, printing of materials and other course delivery tasks, as required, to effectively run the program. Posting materials and notices on course web site (Brightspace).
  • Work with instructors in the planning and preparation of intensives, event planning (bookings, catering, special needs, etc), scheduling, itineraries and activities, material preparation, site and layout requirements, technical support, primary contact for support and troubleshooting during intensives, classroom setup and tear down.
  • Coordinate the collection and distribution of materials, monitor discussions and assignments, as required, report as required to instructors and to Integrated Learning Coordinators, provide support to students.
  • Provide video graphic support, coordination of online orientation for new students.
  • Under the direction of the Integrated Learning Coordinators, record video of instructors or other digital learning content, as required, including editing and uploading of media content to Brightspace.
  • Respond to general inquiries after information sessions and provide backup to team members where required.

Note

  • The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of inperson work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Business/ Office Administration program with approximately three to five years' related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Word, and Excel).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, multitasking and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently.

Assets

  • Experience working in postsecondary with adult and professional parttime learners.
  • Experience with Brightspace or similar course management systems and online web design, adult education and Banner experience.
