Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher equivalent education in finance, accounting, business
administration, computer science, engineering or equivalent field, preferably with advanced
training
- Minimum 45 years of relevant professional experience
- High commitment to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions
- Pass a criminal record check
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Strong knowledge of COSO internal control framework, audit methodologies i.e., PCAOB, IT
- Experienced in SOX/CSOX/internal audit execution
- Experienced in team management and development
- Manage client's expectations through providing quality risk advisory services
- Develop practice material including but not limited to checklists, tools assessment, editorials
- Assist in thought leadership and article writing.
Responsibilities
Development of overall risk strategy, data driven strategy and continuous risk
monitoring for clients;
Development of internal controls testing procedures, internal audit plan;
Risk assessment in internal audit space as well in SOX/CSOX/IT environment;
Execute engagements including but not limited to forensic services, internal audit
including specialist audits, supporting external audit engagement i.e., SOX (ICFR, ITGC,
JET, etc.) ERA assessment and implementation, agile auditing, maturity assessment,
Operational & financial audits, outsourcing, co-sourcing, managed services, client
training & coaching, staff development, etc.;
Process transformation and redesigning under ERM and Sox/CSOX environment,
SOX/CSOX readiness assessment;
Prepare various report i.e., SOX/CSOX control testing report and status update and
internal audit report;
Assist in the development of various proposals;
Internal controls implementation and remediation;
Continuous monitoring of controls; and
Contract compliance.
Work in a fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail, handle large
workload

Salary:
$75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
