'Ksan Place is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for a summer position, 'Ksan Place Garden Ambassador. We offer

an inspiring work environment with a supportive management team, providing opportunities for skill development,

enjoyment, and professional growth.

Job Description:
The Ambassador plays a crucial role in supporting the Ksan Place Youth Mentor, Master

Gardener, and Coordinator in delivering instructional and practical learning sessions for volunteer

participants, including families, children, and individuals engaged in the _Share in the Harvest Learn to _

Garden Program. _

Qualifications:
clear criminal record, take an oath of confidentiality, and be prepared to follow Ksan's code of conduct,

Is between 1530 years of age(inclusive) at start date of employment.
Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred

under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

And
Is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/ territorial legislation. *International

students are not eligible.

Experience/Skills:

Gardening experience or postsecondary education in a related field would be an asset
Food Safe Certificate is also considered beneficial but not essential.
Adherence to health and safety requirements is a priority
Responsibilities extend to assisting in various areas, including the gardens, greenhouse,

kitchen, and other food security programs.

Hours of Work: 7-hour shifts, various schedules, 8-week term
