About CSE:

Communications Security Establishment (CSE) is Canada's national cryptologic agency.

Unique within Canada's security and intelligence community, we employ code-makers, codebreakers, and secure system creators to provide the Government of Canada with foreign signals intelligence (SIGINT), as well as cyber security services (Canadian Centre for Cyber Security).

CSE is the national hub for cyber operations to protect Canada and advance national interests. We provide technical and operational assistance to federal law enforcement and security agencies.


About the Job:

We are looking for people from a diverse range of backgrounds who are adaptable, and can multitask. In this role you'll have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service to the Human Resources (HR) team.

With good attention to detail, you'll ensure that HR service standards are upheld by tracking clients' requests from beginning to delivery, using project management software.

With your organizational skills, you'll maintain various HR-related tools and aids (instructions, one-pagers, etc.) for staff and clients. You'll be a team player and have the ability to communicate with people at all levels of our organization.

Salary Range:


HR Administrative support:
UNI-05 level: $64,344 - $75,699 per year

Location:

All jobs are in Ottawa, Ontario. Flexible work arrangements, including telework for a portion of the work week, may be possible. CSE locations meet current accessibility standards.

Area of selection:

Open to Canadian citizens who reside in the National Capital Region (NCR).


Required Qualifications:


Education:


  • Secondary school diploma
  • The diploma must be recognized in Canada and you must be able to provide proof of education credentials.

Experience:


  • Experience providing administrative services in an office environment
  • Please provide details about the type of administrative services you delivered as this qualification will be rated based on the breadth and depth of administrative services provided.

Asset Qualifications:

Assets are "nice-to-have" education and experience we are interested in.

Asset Education:


  • College diploma or certification in Office Administration must be recognized in Canada and you must be able to provide proof of education credentials

Asset Experience:


  • Experience in data entre
  • Experience providing administrative services in a Human Resources (HR) environment
  • Experience providing administrative services in HR in the federal public service.
  • Experience using a Human Resources Management System.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Experience working in a call centre.
  • Experience using a case management and/or ticketing system.
  • Experience working in a Training and/or Learning environment.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating events.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes of meetings.
