Description
We are currently seeking a safety-minded Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Truro. Previous experience (3 years preferred) is a must. The worksite operates Monday through Friday 7am-5pm with rotational Saturdays 7am to 12noon.


The machines to operate are not limited to Liebherr 924, Fuche 340and Sennebogen 824 Wheeled Material handlers with Grapple and/or magnet attachments.

Experience with a shear is also preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operate heavy machinery
  • Operate a shear
  • Clean and lubricate equipment, refill equipment tanks
  • Conduct preoperational checks
  • Secure special attachments
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to proper manager
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills

  • Safety Minded
  • 3 years' experience
