ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.


We are currently seeking a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) Data Analyst. This position is remote.


The
Data Analyst collects, analyses, and converts complex raw data and comprehensive information into written reports to support quality assurance activities, organizational reporting and program evaluation.

The Data Analyst works collaboratively to identify data needs within the organization and is responsible for developing reports based on department team requirements, programming queries to pull data, and for working with departments to define reporting needs.

The Data Analyst will ensure that reports are easy for the average reader or non-technical employees to understand.


Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop data models, data conversion strategies, tools, reports, visualizations and dashboards to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Analyze data and present data through reports that aid decisionmaking and continuous quality improvement of services and processes.
  • Collaborates with department teams to ensure that the organization's reporting needs are met.
  • Source, manage and implement data from third parties, as required.
  • Design, develop, and automate operational reports, analytical dashboards, or deliver adhoc findings based on business requirements.
  • Run, verify, and dispatch scheduled reports.
  • Participate as a key contributor to Decision Support Committee.
  • Leverage data governance to maintain the integrity and quality of data systems.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • University or college degree/diploma in the field of health informatics, systems analysis, data management/statistics, business or related discipline.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset.
  • High proficiency in converting data into meaningful reports and visualizations using analytical tools such as Google Looker, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to use CRM and ERP tools and software.
  • Ability to manage deadline driven projects and work independently.
  • Excellent problem solving, risk management and analytical skills.
  • Experience of the software development lifecycle is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to change.
  • Works cooperatively in a team environment.
