We are currently seeking an
Accounting Clerk to join the Finance team.

The Accounting Clerk will provide support to the finance team, primarily focusing on the accounts payable, filing accounting documents, and maintaining a systematical profile of customers and vendors.


Responsibilities:

  • Enter data and verify information for accuracy
  • File and label documents for storage and retrieval
  • Review vendor invoices for proper coding and obtain appropriate authorizations
  • Enter expense reports and code to the correct job
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Communicate with vendors and internal staff
  • Assist the Finance team in sorting, revising, and preparing invoices for clients
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
  • Adaptable to reprioritizing the workload and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Friendly, positive, and cooperative attitude
  • Experience with bookkeeping and general accounting is preferred

From $50,000.00 per year
