Located in Hamilton, on the edge of Lake Ontario and the picturesque Niagara escarpment,

  • McMaster Children's Hospital is a tertiary referral centre serving a population of more than million. McMaster University is internationally recognized for innovations in medical education and
- pioneering biomedical, epidemiological and health systems research. McMaster Children's

  • Hospital is one of the busiest children's hospitals in Ontario offering specialized care to
- over 150,000 children each year.

  • The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology currently has ten physicians. The successful the Division, and will participate in research and educational activities. To address the clinical needs
- of the Division, an area of clinical focus in solid tumour oncology would be an asset.

  • This position will incorporate an academic appointment, and rank and salary will be
- commensurate with the experience and expertise of the applicant.
The Division is a- collaborative research and to develop a clinical investigative agenda. They will also
- participate in educational activities within the undergraduate medical education program and the

  • Royal College accredited Pediatric and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology postgraduate training
- programs. We offer a collegial atmosphere, a unique academic environment, and the
- opportunity to work in a thriving academic department with enthusiastic colleagues.

  • Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) in Pediatrics and
  • Hematology/Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and
- must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. Start date is
- negotiable.
