GENERAL FUNCTION


As a Team Leader you are responsible for the day-to-day function of the logistics department by providing directions, instructions, guidance, and leadership to the team to achieve our KPIs and service promise.

You are accountable for assigned daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and team performances.

You will work report to and work closely with the Outbound Supervisor and training team to ensure that processes are followed correctly.


Available Shift - Richmond Warehouse (2020 No. 6 Road, Richmond, B.C.)
Sunday to Thursday 7am to 3 :30pm - Non Negotiable


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the floor and assigning daily task to achieve daily goals
  • Communicate information from management to the outbound team and vice versa
  • Monitoring of all orders and ensuring everything are shipped per our service promise
  • Continued focus on improving employee engagement and motivation, including Tiny
  • Pulse scores & feedback
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
  • Responsible identifying process improvements
  • Responsible for giving feedback to supervisor in conducting yearly individual review
  • Regular engagement with other teams such as inbound, trainers, inventory, transportation & customer service, among others.
  • Assist trainers in ensuring staff is skilled and aware of daytoday procedures
  • Assist in hiring, identifying, and development of team members
  • Assist in managing controllable costs, especially labour in relation to output
  • Oversee facility upkeep and any required safety maintenance
  • Assist in conduct confidential and sensitive conversation
  • Completion of other tasks or projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong problemsolving skills, ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills of Computers and Microsoft Office
  • Able to adapt to the changing nature of the department and of the business
  • Organizational skills, ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team partners
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude
  • Lead with integrity and honesty in a way that promotes our culture, values, and mission.

Pay Range:
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.

In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
