Experior Financial Group, Inc. is looking for an experienced, Accounting Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Help with quarterly and yearend financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
  • Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at yearend
  • HST Submissions to be done with your oversight.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance required.
  • Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA) required.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • 35 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
  • 12 years of bookkeeping experience is an asset.
  • 35 years using QuickBooks Online required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and other financial systems required.
  • Able to work independently and solve problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and quickly to resolve issues.
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Handle stressful situations with a positive, cando attitude.
  • Positive attitude and able to accept constructive criticism.
  • Must be able to take ownership of your work.
  • Speaking French / Spanish considered an asset.
  • Willing to learn French / Spanish

Job Types:

Salary:
$74,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
