Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and responsible care for one year old
Engage child in ageappropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
Prepare meals and snacks, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up after meals and playtime
Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding daily activities, schedules, and any concerns or updates
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with one year olds
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents
Knowledge of ageappropriate developmental milestones and activities
Basic understanding of first aid and Cpr and natural health supplements are an asset
Reliable transportation to commute to the family's home

Skills:

Cooking: Ability to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
Cleaning: Willingness to assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare
Experience with children: Previous experience caring for children of various ages
Education: Ability to engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development
Caregiving: Demonstrated ability to provide attentive and compassionate care for children of all ages
Meal preparation: Skill in planning and preparing meals that meet dietary needs and preferences
