Blue Water Cafe is a high volume fine dining restaurant, serving around 320 guests nightly.

***: The Floor Manager will inspire, develop, oversee, and manage the front-of-house team, while working closely with the leadership team to support the creation and delivery of a unique and elevated guest experience that is in harmony with the kitchen's food program.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

  • Serve as an educator, as well as an inspirational, committed, and responsible leader to the restaurant's frontofhouse team
  • Assist with overseeing the daytoday operations of the restaurant
  • Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism and hospitality
  • Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver a memorable food and beverage experience
  • Display a genuine passion to facilitate and exceed guest service expectations
  • Ensure the delivery of superior customer service through effective staff training and education
  • Actively participate in the mentorship and support of all team members
  • Develop a strong and positive rapport with both staff and guests alike
  • Drive positive results that align with business goals
  • Under the direction of the Restaurant Director, initiate and execute special projects as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading a premium food and beverage operation
  • Experience training and managing a large and varied staff
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to provide insightful industry leading, bestinclass outcomes to perpetuate growth in a premium service environment
  • Highly committed to a premium level of quality and creating the ultimate guest experience
  • Skilled at developing and creating food and beverage experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Strong problemsolving skills, including the ability to analyze current business problems and implement recommended solutions
  • Superior conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
