What you'll be doing day to day

  • Ensure that the People Planning strategy, as established by the Country team, is fully implemented.
  • Responsibility for the People Planning process in the unit from forecasting to schedule development.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Country team as needed on this strategy.
  • Serve as a Business Partner for all people planningrelated matters within your unit.
  • Ensure that the unit's people planning process helps develop our internal talent and enables them to deliver a high quality and personal customer experience
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and P&C to align vacancies with forecasts and business priorities.
  • Train and support all unit coworkers on their roles in the People Planning process.
  • When making Business decisions, always consider compliance with local employment standards, legal, and union requirements, Equality and Diversity initiatives, Work-Life Balance and individual coworker needs.
  • Support the recruitment process by partnering with your Unit Hiring Managers and the Centralized Recruitment team, as needed
  • Make sure high levels of problem solving, mediation and counseling skills are always used to work through day to day issues
  • Regularly communicate and partner with your Unit P&C Manager and Country People Planning Manager on escalated issues as well as local initiatives and improvements
  • Support Health & Safety compliance, improvements and programs.
