You would benefit from past experiences in the retail industry or a similar highvolume customerfocused environment

What you'll be doing day to day

Ensure that the People Planning strategy, as established by the Country team, is fully implemented.
Responsibility for the People Planning process in the unit from forecasting to schedule development.
Provide constructive feedback to the Country team as needed on this strategy.
Serve as a Business Partner for all people planningrelated matters within your unit.
Ensure that the unit's people planning process helps develop our internal talent and enables them to deliver a high quality and personal customer experience
Collaborate with Hiring Managers and P&C to align vacancies with forecasts and business priorities.
Train and support all unit coworkers on their roles in the People Planning process.
When making Business decisions, always consider compliance with local employment standards, legal, and union requirements, Equality and Diversity initiatives, Work-Life Balance and individual coworker needs.
Support the recruitment process by partnering with your Unit Hiring Managers and the Centralized Recruitment team, as needed
Make sure high levels of problem solving, mediation and counseling skills are always used to work through day to day issues
Regularly communicate and partner with your Unit P&C Manager and Country People Planning Manager on escalated issues as well as local initiatives and improvements
Support Health & Safety compliance, improvements and programs.
