About the Role
Some of the things you will do every day:
- Drive sales performance for The Conference Board of Canada's subscription-based products or membership-based products.
- Lead outbound campaigns to actively promote and sell subscriptionbased product or membershipbased products.
- Followup and qualify contacts from web registrations, promotions, events and other marketing and sales activities.
- Use vertical knowledge and industry insights to confidently discuss The Conference Board of Canada's subscriptionbased products or membershipbased products.
- Research prospective customers to identify contacts and roles with decisionmaking authority.
- Strategize and collaborate with internal colleagues and stakeholders.
- Update tracking systems and tools with customer information, sales activities, and opportunity details to use for account planning purposes.
- Act as an ambassador for The Conference Board of Canada to our clients and provide them with superior worldclass customer experience.
- Commitment to producing high quality work and demonstrating professional values in all aspects of work and interactions with colleagues and customers.
About You
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum five years' experience in a business customer sales environment.
- Completion of postsecondary education in business administration, marketing, or sales related discipline.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed performance objectives.
- Advanced communication skills, both orally and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Through a combination of experience and natural ability has developed a high degree of competence in:

- Ability to drive negotiation discussions to work in your favor

- Identifies the customer's buying centre, builds connections and can work with various internal departments to ignite interest and confirmed meetings

- Creates, defines, and executes with clear and realistic objectives to reach individual and team objectives
- Ability to travel within Canada.
- Bilingualism in both English and French is an asset.
