Title - ISO Specialist

Location - Toronto, Ontario, Canada (onsite only)

Client - Thales

Budget - 55 CAD per hour on C2C/TPC

Experience - 5 to 7 years

Contract Duration - 4 months ( Extendable )

Mandatory Skills:

5 plus years of experience in information security management, with a focus on implementing and maintaining
ISO 27001compliant ISMSs.
Experience in developing
security policies, procedures, and standards

Strong technical knowledge of information security technologies and tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Relevant certifications, such as
CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, are desirable
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of an ISMS that is based on the ISO 27001 standard and ensure that it meets the needs of the organization.
Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify risks and vulnerabilities and develop controls to mitigate these risks.
Define security policies, procedures, and standards for the organization, and ensure that they are in compliance with the ISO 27001 standard.
Lead the implementation of technical and organizational security measures to protect the organization's information assets.
Develop and deliver security awareness training and education programs for employees, contractors, and thirdparty vendors.
Review the effectiveness of the ISMS, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary
Manage the certification process for ISO 27001, and work with external auditors to ensure that the ISMS meets the requirements of the standard.
