Parts for Trucks offers a complete range of products and services for all makes of trucks and trailers.

We are currently seeking a
Parts Counter Person / Shipper to join our team in
Miramichi. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Details:

Identify customer needs and opportunities to upsell products to better serve the customer.
Prepare and process documentation for purchases, returns, and warranties.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized parts area.
Communicate and work with counter and warehouse staff in a team environment.
Assist in shipping functions and perform occasional warehouse duties as required.
Continuously improve parts and industry knowledge through research and training.

Requirements:

Experience in parts counter sales in the heavyduty truck and trailer industry preferred.
Previous counter experience in an automotive parts department role or equivalent is an asset.
Demonstrated industry knowledge of parts department procedures, materials, and software.
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory control software.
Standing and some moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
Trained and experienced in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred.
