Your Responsibilities

  • Transfer orders and supplies to retail stores by using a computerized inventory system.
  • Receive and verify goods against packing slip.
  • Help with packaging goods for shipment
  • Keep warehouse area organized and clean
  • Sort, Price ticket, security tag and repack individual pieces
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and courteous manner
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Your Skills:


  • High School diploma
  • Excellent reading comprehension
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience as a warehouse worker is an asset
  • Teamwork oriented and positive attitude
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail is essential.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Valid drivers license (Class G or higher) and safe driving record.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • York, ON M6B 4J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
