  • Perform and coordinate audits to monitor the quality system and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in coordination of select licenses, permits and registrations.
  • Lead select regulatory, customer and other 3rd party quality audits.
  • Support intracompany quality audits directed by sector management.
  • Facilitate establishment, maintenance and continual improvement of the overall quality system.
  • Assist director or manager of QA to develop and implement qualityrelated training programs for field operations.
  • Track quality assurance metrics for the site(s).
  • Assist director or manager of QA to develop, distribute, and maintain regular management reports.
  • Work in concert with Operations Performance and Continuous Improvement teams on Quality initiatives.
  • Act as primary advisor to the management team on QA issues/initiatives (e.g. problem solving, identification and escalation of significant QA issues).

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree, preferred
  • Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Inspector, Six Sigma, RAC, etc., preferred
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a regulated environment, preferably FDA, required
  • 1 year of supervision in a quality system and organization, required
  • 3 years of experience working in a related Quality role, required
  • Experience working in the Logistics industry, preferred

GMP experience in a Health Canada regulated enviroment is a requirement.


Required Education and Experience:

-
Required: Completion of post-secondary education through a recognized Canadian University/College (Canadian University/College recognized equivalency assessment may be accepted)
-
Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in QA in a logistics/warehousing or manufacturing setting
-
Required: Strong working knowledge and ability to train others on GMPs/GDPs/CAPAs, Guidelines for Temperature Control of Drug Products during Storage and Transportation, etc. to create thorough understanding of QA requirements
-
Required: 1 year of relevant experience in a regulated environment, preferably Health Canada, pharmaceuticals/Rx, etc.

Required: Ability to speak in front of groups, to hold meetings with Partners as well as provide presentations to all levels of management

Required: Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit Process (Preference for ZenQMS)
- _ Preferred_: Certified Quality Specialist, Quality Auditor, Quality Inspector
- _ Preferred_: AQPIC/QPIC designation or ability to gain via completion of Diploma in Supply Chain Management OR Bachelor of Science with focus in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related
- _ Preferred_: Experience in the requirements of Temperature Management in a GMP facility including management of the Equipment calibration program
- _ Preferred_: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively and thrive under pressure
