Your Role:


Reporting to the Manager of Accounting Operations and working closely with the Vendor Success Lead, the Vendor Success Coordinator will play an integral role in the global purchasing and vendor onboarding function.

You will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Vendor Success team and ensuring adherence to Company procurement policies and procedures.

This is a dynamic, interactive role with lots of room for growth in this up and coming team.

Your inquisitive nature, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence will be put to use as you work with stakeholders from across the business to strengthen relationships with our valued vendors.


Your Job:


  • Responsible for daytoday purchasing activities such as working with stakeholders to gather requirements, issuing purchase orders, requesting quotes from vendors, and preparing pricing analyses.
  • Act as the first point of contact for questions from stakeholders and vendors
  • Maintain and update purchasing portal and expenditure tracking databases
  • Own the vendor setup process including due diligence, vetting, creation, and maintenance of vendor accounts; ensuring completeness of the vendor record and related artefacts
  • Work with the Legal Team (including the Vendor Success Lead) to manage the purchasing intake process, ensure completeness of information and adherence to procurement policies by requestors, and to onboard vendors successfully
  • Work with the Vendor Success Lead to aid in performing sourcing activities for products and services as required
  • Collaborate with accounts payable for purchasing related inquiries, coding, and recordkeeping matters
  • Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement strategies and cost reduction initiatives
  • Prepare information for weekly procurement crossfunctional meetings
  • Collate, validate, and organize data to build reports to help stakeholders manage and forecast spend
  • Assist in the roll out of Vendor Success process improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships and perform cyclical vendor management with crossfunctional business stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties as required


The global nature of the company and the position will require some flexibility in working hours in order to ensure sufficient interaction across time zones.


About You:


  • A minimum 1year experience in an administrative role, preferably in a corporate environment; Experience in high technology or SoftwareasaService Company is an asset
  • Postsecondary education in IT, Business, and/or Accounting with a good understanding of financial terminology is an asset
  • Procurement and/or vendor management experience will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems is highly desirable
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to learn quickly and respond to changing priorities and demands
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to interact effectively across multiple divisions/departments
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to be entrusted with confidential information
  • Impeccable accuracy with numbers and high attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency, prioritize work and meet objectives/deadlines
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to write clear and professional business communications
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team with mínimal supervision
