About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under the direction of the Team Leader, the Booking and Registration Clerk is responsible for the registration of all clinic patients; for the scheduling and communicating of patient appointments; for the coordination of health records for the clinic visit; for gathering and entering of information for Clinic statistics (including diagnostic information) and for assisting in the general organization and efficiency of the Clinic.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII plus graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program, or one year related clerical experience
  • Previous experience working with electronic medical records preferred
  • Typing and computer skills requiredoneyear
  • General office skills preferred
  • Previous experience with STAR an asset
  • Medical Terminology course an asset
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high volume and highly pressurized family practice setting
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent Full-Time (100%) position, 70 Hours Bi-Weekly

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $21.91 Hourly
