Job Description:

We are looking for a Collection clerk to join our Finance team. The person will use their skills to make a positive impact and to create an outstanding customer experience.


Under the supervision of the Controller, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect overdue invoices while communicating effectively and politely with customers.


Responsibilities

  • Manage US and Canada accounts receivable collections
  • Contact clients for overdue payments and make payment arrangements with them
  • Follow up with client success managers on outstanding accounts
  • Keep client files up to date and document the steps taken for collecting accounts
  • Act as a backup for the accounting clerk (accounts receivables) during vacations
  • Reconcile client account statements
  • Collaborate with client service and operations to clarify problematic situations
  • Perform the following administrative tasks as required: open customer accounts and update customer files
  • Other related tasks.

Qualifications:


  • DEC in administration accounting, DVS, or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of French and English, spoken and written
  • Versatility, thoroughness and organizational skills
  • Have the client's best interest at heart
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365 Suite.

Assets

  • Knowledge of NetSuite/Oracle
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
