The Associate Dean role was created to assist the Dean and the Faculty, with a focus on operational activity, providing leadership to the Division Chairs, Department Chairs, Assistant Department Chairs and Coordinators, relieving operational pressures across the Faculty to allow for increased strategic work.

Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers' Council Secretariat (PSEC).
