We are currently recruiting for a full-time Media Production Editor to join our _Media Production _Department
.

The role of the Media Production Department at Focus on the Family Canada is to support the other departments within the ministry as they promote campaign projects, events, products from our online store and all our ministries across the organization.

This support will include forms of media production such as video, audio, photography and animation based on the needs of each department.

_Additionally, the producing of testimonials, teaching series, documentaries and narrative content along with other forms of media fall under the responsibility of this department.

_The Media Production Editor plays a crucial role in supporting our Media Production Manager in the production of all media content required by the ministry.

The primary focus will be on editing and assistant editing of video, audio, and photography in the Media Production Department.

Additionally, the development, pre-production and production of projects will require participation as the need arises.

The position is based out of our head office in Langley, BC, and is eligible for full health and dental benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assist in the editing of video, audio, and photography.
• Brainstorm ideas for various types of projects aligned with our mission and values.
• Help plan and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Fulfill various on-set supportive roles to facilitate smooth production processes.
• Provide input into the design and construction of production sets.
• Collaborate closely with the Media Production Manager and other team members to achieve high-quality media content that serves the needs of each department within the ministry.

For primary consideration you must bring the following to this role:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Media Production, Film/Television, Animation, Photography, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in media production, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects.
• Proficient in a wide range of video editing software, film/photography equipment, audio recording equipment/software and other relevant tools.
• Fluent in Adobe software (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Lightroom, Acrobat)
• Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of Christian values and the ability to infuse them into media content.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
