About the job:

As an Distributions delivery Driver, you'll be delivering across the city Edmonton delivery area.

You will be a delivery driver you serve - delivering hundreds of smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies.

Our full-time drivers work four (4) days per week. We also offer part-time employment, for those who are interested.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Delivery Associate position is responsible to specific duties include, but not limited to:

Responsible for daily deliveries serving our business and customers, and giving them best customer service.
Meeting delivery deadlines.
Communicating with team members and operations team for any deliveries and road concerns.
Responsible for daily van inspection and filling in the inspection checklist

- manually loading and unloading food products into the vans/trucks and hand-wheeling them into the customer location with the use of ramps and levelers

Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices
Conduct routine pre/posttrip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
Report incident and accident while on shift to the operation team.
Following the best practices for health and and safety at all times throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

Have a valid Alberta Class 5 or Class 5 GDL drivers license and *clean drivers abstract
No driver's license suspensions within the previous five years
No DUI/DWI within five previous years
Are physically capable of working 10.5 hours daily and can lift up to 50 lbs
Are comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day in all types of weather
Have proper footwear (there will be lots of free cardio)
Have the ability are willing to work any day of the week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Are reliable and dependable
Are able to pass a criminal background check
Have excellent communication skills
Have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
