Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant/hotel
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
  • Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
  • Answer phone calls and take reservations
  • Manage the waitlist and ensure timely seating of guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food service operations and POS systems
  • Familiarity with hotel or restaurant hospitality industry
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$15.25-$16.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 12 per week
