We are growing

Activate is a technology company known for creating Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming experience. We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Sales and Parts Representative.

This position has key responsibilities to ensure that both internal and external clients understand the parts and services that are available to them as a client.

They are responsible to order and receive the requested Activate rooms and componentry necessary to provide the optimal Activate experience for their customers.

This process combines strong client engagement, with a deep knowledge of the Activate model, room versions, and historical uses of our electronic products and rooms.

This position has no direct reports but works closely with Store Maintenance, Research and Development as well as Manufacturing.


Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inside Sales_
  • Responsible for receiving orders from customers (Stores, Project Manager, Licensee, Franchise owner)
  • Understand the pricing model for all Activate rooms and componentry
  • Expert resource and knowledge with catalog of parts, stock number and pricing
  • Generate sales leads through upselling new versions of our products and componentry
  • Develop and maintain existing customer relationships through communication, professionalism and positive customer relations
  • Advise customers on substitutions or modifications when a part is not available
  • Prepare sales orders to meet customer needs, process invoices and payments
  • Parts and Service_
  • Analyze material demand patterns, establish and recommend actions through purchasing, planning and engineering.
  • Coordinate disposition of defective items at the store level, and ensure cost effective decisions are in place for material returns.
  • Inspect worn, damaged, or defective parts to determine what replacements are required, or inform customer of part needed according to description of malfunction
  • Under guidance of Warehouse TL, may take inventory of stock, and work with purchasing / planning to ensure stock levels are normalized
  • Work with the Director of Manufacturing to determine the room version currently approved and in production for upcoming orders
  • Work with warehouse personnel to fill customer orders from warehouse stock
  • Label and categorize parts in the warehouse or area according to a prearranged system

Qualifications

  • 12 years experience working with Parts and Service
  • Inside sales experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge in inventory management preferred
  • Experience with quality control preferred
  • Sales focused with strong customer relations skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite, and adaptable to new software
