At SMS Equipment, our
Equipment Sales Representatives are responsible managing sales of new equipment within the domestic sales function. They create and maintain solid long-term relationships with customers by leveraging their knowledge of markets, customer business and products. We are looking for someone who is tenacious, optimistic and a team player to join our growing sales team. This role is based in
Winnipeg, MB.
The base salary for this role is
$48,000 plus commission.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage sales of equipment solutions by monitoring economic trends and new product development. Collaborate with the Sales/Operations Manager to set quotas, implement sales action plans.

Meet personal sales targets as established. Focus on accounts which are stable in nature within identified markets or geography. Utilize company technical, sales and promotional resources to generate leads and achieve sales goals.

Special projects as assigned. Participate in major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives. Leverages professional associations and affiliations to build customer networks and relationships (i.e. LinkedIn, CIM, APEGGA, etc).

Qualifications:

Possess an undergraduate degree in a related field.
Sound understanding of the principles and concepts associated with the position.
Ability to operate in a diverse environment with a significant focus on client/customer relationships.
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines is essential.
Possess good judgement and able to make intelligent decisions under pressure.
Be dependable, innovative and creative.
Must be ambitious and proactively acquiring cutting edge technology and "best practise" pertaining to the Company's products.
Valid Class 5 drivers license.
