Description

Responsibilities:

Load and unload incoming and outgoing lumber orders
Stage and build lumber packages
Keep yard clean of debris and well organized
Rotate stock
Complete delivery shipping list and all required paperwork for product
Assist others as instructed by supervisor
Report any unauthorized persons or suspicious activity to the supervisor or other senior management team member
Conduct daily check of forklift to ensure safe operation and report any required maintenance or damage to Shipping Manager daily
Maintain a clean forklift inside and out
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

Must be highly organized, with superior customer service and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Ability to adapt to change
Professional, positive attitude
Ability to operate yard equipment
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Knowledge of building materials
Knowledge of picking orders, loading and unloading
Ability to operate yard equipment
A team player with a strong desire to succeed
Scheduling flexibility including a willingness to work overtime considered an asset
