PROFILE
This position requires in-office attendance five days a week.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Alleviate administrative tasks specific to professional departures, file transfers, and new professional hires from the General Manager;
  • Working closely with legal administrative assistants and records management team to ensure all aspects of closing practices and transferring matters is executed in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate directly with professionals, clients and legal administrative assistants on an ongoing basis;
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution;
  • A minimum of three to five years of legal administrative experience is required;
  • Ability to handle a heavy and varied workload;
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs, and assist with movement of materials throughout the Firm on an ongoing basis;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Advanced computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent client service skills, and professionalism;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to set priorities while dealing with conflicting and emerging priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with other staff and professionals.
