Are you a Heavy Equipment Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're recruiting a Heavy Equipment Technician in Fort McMurray - Syncrude.

In this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on light plants, Generators, Welders, Skid steer and other support equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of oil sands mine site experience
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician
High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) required
Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Experience and/or exposure to Generators, Light Plant, Welder, Skid steer and Diesel Engines
Experience and/or exposure to SAP is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance activities and repairs on Heavy Mobile Mining Equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment deficiencies
Participate in developing maintenance procedures and instructions

Location and other Key Details:

You will work out of a Syncrude location in Fort McMurray
The shift schedule is 3 days 3 nights and 6 off 12 hour shifts
You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor.
